Hello, Beauties🌸 Here talking about my passion for connecting through meetUps.

I was recently asked the question, What is my greatest strength and why? Many people that know me would agree I have the gift of organization.  After reading the Strengths Finder 2.0, the book revealed my greatest strengths as Discipline, Responsibility, Belief, Maximizer, and Connectedness.

I must say what screams out my name is Connectedness. Sometimes you just know where you flow. I have example after example of connecting people. To name an intimate family gathering, a family with a trip to the White House.  Some fabulous friends visited the new Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. The Harrisburg area AstraZeneca colleagues for our an annual giving back to the community at the Ronald McDonald House.

And now with the Forever Fierce tribe, I’m relishing the opportunity to connect and meet. Joining with others helps keep you in a positive mood, which in turn wards off depression and improving physical and mental health.

What’s important as one such as me nears retirement age, to stay socially active. Many say that workplace social invitations tend to stop after you retire. Social engagements keep us sharp and mentally engaged. Could this be a key component to ward of the onset of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease?

Enough said about meetups and the need to be involved.  Here’s a recap of all the meetups, I’ve organized since joining the Forever Fierce group in 2017.  Some of the meetup ideas came from Sandra Mimran Smith, the Boostwr designer.  There’s nothing like teamwork to connect and have fun.  Join the Facebook group for the next adventure in New York, maybe Philly and perhaps even Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Better yet, subscribe to my weekly publications to stay in the know.
