eWhat New Season Looks Are You Adding To Your Closet?

Today, I teamed up with chic Instagram friends:  Cindy, Mary Ann, Annie, and Brenda, to share our ultimate closet wish lists for spring. We answer and ask you, what new season looks are you adding to your closet?

Milly Dress: Elise 3D Cotton Embroidered Dress

Every new season is an opportunity to raise your style game and put a spring in your step. It’s refreshing to see the signs of springtime bursting forth. You can’t help but admire the explosion of the beautiful colors of the tulips, forsythia, hyacinths, and irises. The spirit of revival and reinvigoration is all around us.

I don’t snap up every trend that everyone is wearing. I’ve learned what works best for my silhouette.
It’s important to stay visible and relevant. As women of a certain age, adding a few pieces to update yourself is essential; we must fight the frump.

Wide-Leg Jeans
Wide-Leg Pants
Zip Hem Leggings
Spring Florals

Shiny Neutrals (Metallic)
Bubble Hems
Statement (Voluminous) Sleeves

Photo location: Shipoke, PA. This Milly Elise dress is an excellent new-season look for me.
I purchased this Milly dress on sale earlier this year. Gucci Mini Marmont Camera Bag on sale at Gilt.com

Now for women over 50, what makes sense for us?
Cargo Pants
Oversized Menswear Shirts
Clean Mimalist Suits
Maxi Dresses

There are many fashion lists for the most significant trends of spring and summer 2023. I tried one new style trend in last week’s post: cargo pants and denim on denim. I’m not a jeans kind of girl, so I surprised myself by stepping out of the box.

Over 50 Spring Ultimate Closet Wish List; New Season looks for me

I label my style as signature bold and feminine. These choices ⬆️ readily fit into my wardrobe. So this Barbie Pink Avery Cady Blazer and Nash Cady Pants by Milly are right up my alley. This Banana Republic Minna Wide-Leg Linen Pant is a curvy girl’s delight. My closet will love the Milly Nora Botanical Ruffle dress, especially since I don’t usually wear floral designs. I’m sure I don’t need another straw bag, but this Frances Valentine Hannah Lunchbox Basket Top Handle is très chic. Finally, Rihanna’s Fenty MVP lippy, shown during her Superbowl Half-Time Show, is a must-have beauty item.
