Blues, Oranges, and Florals Are Hot Trends
This week’s post, my quarterly linkup with the Magnificent eight blogger group – the agreed-upon theme is a naturally inspired outfit reflecting a garden. I choose to wear a floral design representing flowers. Why? According to the 2020 Global Fashion Report, blues, orange, and florals are hot trends for warmer weather.

Aldomartins Floral Print Wide-Leg Pant with Stripe Up the Side

Understandably, the color blue is a top fashion spring summer trend.  Why?  The classic shade of blue is Pantone’s 2020 color of the year.  Blue is one of those hues that evoke being positive, dreaming big, and enjoying every moment kind of tone.

Orange is one of the provocative attention-getter colors that, for me, bring feelings of joy, warmth, sunshine, and empowerment.  Not everyone can pull off such a high saturation hue.

Catherine Malandrino Bell Sleeved Orange Top with Kaye Spade Orange Patent Pumps

When I think of my style, floral prints and patterns are rarely a consideration. Although, my go-to print is a leopard, and I recently embraced wearing paisley.

Refreshing and recreating pieces worn already
I shopped my closet for Catherine Malandrino Bell Sleeved Orange Top with Aldomartins Floral Wide-Leg Pants with Stripe up the Side. Accessories:  Kate Spade Orange Patent Leather Pumps and J. Crew Straw Clutch.

I restyled the outfit I’m wearing with pants that made a great weekend escape to Miami last summer. This wide-leg pant is great for my curvy bottom: my orange bell-sleeved top, a great vibrant color to play dress-up this week.

I'm Boldly Channeling The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

I relish participating in blogger linkups because it encourages me to try something I wouldn’t normally wear. Remember me channeling the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel?   Not such a hot trend! Nevertheless, the 1950s outfit from participation in the first quarter Magnificent eight vintage-inspired linkup.

Costa Farms Boston Ferns
The Boston Ferns I ordered via Lowe’s App.

My spring gardening starts every year with getting Boston ferns for my urns and decorating my window boxes in the front of my home.  This year, I used Lowe’s App to order the ferns directly from the grower in Florida.

My Garden

Continuing with the garden them, here’s my little perennial garden,  we recently lost a massive oak tree that destroyed our patio and this area of our yard just getting back to normal.
