Hello, Beauties🌸 Today’s post is about my annual sweet birthday celebration in Hershey, the most delicious place on the earth.
Perhaps you remember, I work for Astra Zeneca, a pharmaceutical company. Occasionally, the busyness of life gets blurred between when work ends and begins. Last week was one of those weeks where everything hit the fan professionally, avocationally, and personally.
The vocational, Monday evening, after working all day, I attended a Respiratory Speaker’s Bureau Dinner program for Harrisburg physicians. Tuesday, I worked with the Commercial Business Director for the day.
The avocational, Wednesday, I organized a community service for the Astra Zeneca Harrisburg District at the Ronald McDonald House of Central Pennsylvania. We made muffins for the home-away-from-home guests.
My side hustle, Thursday, I motored to NYC for another Forever Fierce MeetUp, this time Athleta. There’s something therapeutic and energizing about getting to know what other women are doing with their lives, in their communities and professionally. Friday, I did enjoy a day of sweet rest to get ready to observe my birthday.
Saturday, the pièce de résistance at the Spa at the Hotel Hershey to celebrate not only my birthday but a milestone birthday of my bestie cousin Terri. And I always want my fashion journalist daughter, Channing to help me usher in any special occasion. It doesn’t matter how many spa services you indulge in, the beautiful, welcoming ambiance of Hershey compound encourages relaxation.
After a full day at the Chocolate Spa, I arrived home to two floral arrangements from Catherine Grace O and her Forever Fierce Administration team as a thank you for my support of the group’s birthdays.
Last but not least, my September 16 birthday celebration with Sunday Brunch in The Circular at the Hotel Hershey with my family. The historic charm, elegance, and excellent service are what keep me returning to sweet Hershey for any occasion.
